ADC Telecommunications is a phone networking business, providing communication all across the world. Yet the communications technology available now, is not efficient nor able to give users complete mobile coverage on a 4G level. ADC Telecommunications will be apart of the 2010 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, presenting its idea of how to rethink communication around the world. This event is being held on February 15-18th.
Telephone users are having a hard time getting the connection they need when they are more than a kilometer away from the signal won’t receive it as well as the user who is closer. The solution according to ADC Telecommunications would be to install distributed antenna systems for both outdoor and indoor coverage.
ADC Telecommunications also had a better than expected quarter profit after the business tightened cost controls. The network equipment maker’s shares up 3 percent.
