Day Trading

Day trading emerged as a force in the late 90’s as the internet and faster connection speed facilitated the professional trader who worked from home or off Wall Street. Now, you can day trade just about anything. Stocks, options, futures, you name it.

Traditional day-traders will not hold a position longer than a day. Thus, the term “day trading”. Longer trades are normally known as swing trades.
