Monster Worldwide connects people to employers who are searching for qualified people. The business has been alive for about 10 years, and has helped thousands of people organize their work, networking, and help expand their job searches. Monster Worldwide recently asked to buy Yahoo Inc.’s HotJobs for $225 million in cash where as Yahoo bought HotJobs for $439 million in 2002. The request will be enacted in the third quarter, but will including a multiyear traffic agreement with Yahoo. Monster has been in rivalry with HotJobs competing to help people with job searching. This will benefit Yahoo allowing it to maintain its main flow of traffic located within its news, entertainment and communications; HotJobs didn’t really fit in Yahoo’s picture. Part of the deal includes Monster providing Yahoo with job listings and other employment content. This will all hopefully take place between June and October.
